Lethargy (gr. Lethargia – deep sleep, forgetfulness) – an abnormal lack of energy, as the result of a disease; sluggishness, slowness, or dullness.

In Virgis Malčius personal exhibition his newest animation works and drawings are presented which are inspired by writer’s S. Beckett texts. According to the artist “it perfectly reflects weightless floating through intangible ruins of day and night.”

Virgis Malčius (born 1980) in 2008 graduated from MA in Photoghaphy and Media studies in Vilnius Academy of Arts and continuously participates in various animation and media art festivals and contests. His inspiration comes from literature and music. Collage-like style, motives of absurdity, self-irony and surreality are characteristic to his oeuvre.
