Exhibition “The Whale Vanishes” by Tomas Daukša at SODAS 2123 project space
On 5 April 2024, from 6 p.m., the opening of the exhibition “The Whale Vanishes ” by artist Tomas Daukša will take place in the project space of the cultural center SODAS 2123 (Vitebsko str. 23, Vilnius). The exhibition presents fountains of fantastic shapes, which are part of the artist’s ongoing project “Fountains of Joy”. The exhibition runs until 23 April.

Invitation to LIAA members to use the creative studio in Aleknaičiai in July
The Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association together with Aleknaičiai Culture and Education Space (Akee) invites LIAA members to submit applications for the use of the creative studio for independent work in Akee’s space in Aleknaičiai, Pakruojis district in July 2024. Akee will invite the artist to participate in an open studio event at the end of their stay.

Invitation to the opening of Dainius Liškevičius’ solo exhibition “Obsessions”
On 21 March at 6 pm, the Radvila Palace Museum of Art invites you to the opening of the solo exhibition “Obsessions” by LIAA member Dainius Liškevičius. In the exhibition, the artist rethinks and proposes a new way of looking at the function of the museum as an institution and its role in society, questioning the objectivity of the preserved stories and their significance through various media expressions. The exhibition will be open to visitors until 2 June.

SODAS 2123 and Entity space is inviting to three meetings with animators
On 22, 23, 24 March 2024, the second part of the “Entity: Unisona” project will take place in the Entity space (in the cultural centre SODAS 2123), with the “Praxinoscope” event series revolving around animation, presenting contemporary technologies and collaborative practices. Over the course of three days, Pijus Čeikauskas, Eglė Davidavičė, Antanas Skučas and Lina Vaiškūnaitė will introduce guests to their artistic practice and creative process, share their experiences and openly answer topical questions about animation.
