We are pleased to invite everyone to a guided tour around our current exhibition \u2018Until Hope Do Us Part\u2019, taking place on the 25 September, from 6 p.m. at Atletika Gallery (Vitebsko St. 21, Vilnius). It will be followed by the text workshop with the exhibition curator Ieva Gra\u017eyt\u0117. The exhibition presents works by Aust\u0117ja Masliukait\u0117, Barbora Matonyt\u0117, Darius \u017di\u016bra, Jurga Juodyt\u0117, Laura Stasiulyt\u0117, Jonas Me\u0161kauskas, and Agata Orlovska.
\nEach epoch belongs to the most resolute \u2013 the ones who make the rules, draft legal systems and treaties, and ensure that every detail leaves no room for dispute. In the twists and turns of history, the end of an era is inevitably marked by change. Yet what truly sets people apart is not conflict, but indifference.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>\u2018Until Hope Do Us Part\u2019 is a showcase by LIAA members of different generations, reflecting on hope and its quiet yet persistent presence \u2013 often mistaken for passive inaction.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Here, hope is not a sign of weakness but a signal of action \u2013 a force resilient enough to endure both individual and collective crises. It becomes the illusion of an eternal engine, where the tension between knowledge and faith fuels momentum.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Within the exhibition\u2019s narratives, hope emerges not as passive waiting, but as stoic resistance to indifference \u2013 not a final state, but a recurring rhythm of separation and reunion. A cyclical phenomenon between bloomings, whose transience we tend to romanticise \u2013 even at the edge of collapse.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>The exhibition is curated around plots and objects that emerge as surprises or even miracles. Often literary in nature, the works of artists from different generations and practices shape a narrative about what would never have happened if human creative practices were based solely on a set of rules.
