Austin was asked whether we should be talking about Gregor Samsa, the character of Kafka\u2019s \u201cThe Metamorphosis\u201d, as about a human with a beetle body or as about a beetle with human memories and consciousness, he replied as follows: \u201cNeither one nor the other. We should not feel like we knew how to talk about it. In such situations in particular we say \u201cwords trick us\u201d and we mean what we say. We should feel a need for new words. Old words would simply not fit. They would not supposed to be used in such situations.\u201d<\/em> <em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During this\nshort walk around the territory and the neighbourhood of \u201cSodas 2123\u201d we will\nsearch for plants and mushrooms which may look ordinary from the first sight,\nbut having looked more closely at them, the language might trick us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nVilius Dranseika is a philosophy\nlecturer and researcher at Vilnius University and Kaunas University of\nTechnology.
