On Thursday, 27 October at 6 p.m., the cultural centre SODAS 2123 invites to the OPEN SODAS event, where artists and organisations will open their creative studios, a performance, an exhibition opening and a music programme will take place!<\/p>\n

During OPEN SODAS \u00a0an exhibition titled \u2018Respawn\u2019 by Finnish artist Hanna Ij\u00e4s and Icelandic artist Brynd\u00eds Bj\u00f6rnsd\u00f3ttir (D\u00edsa) will open at Atletika gallery (Vitebsko 21, Vilnius) on 27 October 2022, curated by Ignas Pavliukevi\u010dius and AI language model GPT3. This exhibition is the result of the two-month artist residency at the cultural centre SODAS 21232. On the opening night on 27 October, from 7 pm, artist Hanna Ij\u00e4s together with sound artists Edvinas Gruodis Sili\u016bnas, Karolis Bre\u017einskas and Kristupas Kmitas will present the performance \u2018Lie Down Where You Want to Be Stepped On\u2019.<\/p>\n

Swallow project space will be open 6 pm \u2013 9 pm with an exhibition \u201cThe Weather in Fred Sandback\u201d, imagined by Martin Ebner, Audrius Pocius and Ariane M\u00fcller and featuring works, music, and gestures by Eric D. Clark, Mich\u00e8le Graf & Selina Gr\u00fcter, Laura Kaminskait\u0117, Sebastian Luetgert, Robertas Narkus, Eleni Poulou & Hilary Jeffery, Ulla Rossek, Julia Scher, Valerie Stahl von Stromberg, Hannah Weinberger, Martin Ebner, and Ariane M\u00fcller.<\/p>\n

The cultural centre SODAS 2123 (Vitebsko g. 21\/23, Vilnius) is a space open to the public, initiated and curated by the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association (LIAA), based on the principles of community and self-management.
\nThe event is organised by SODAS 2123 together with the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association.
\nThe activities of the LIAA are funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and the Vilnius City Municipality, as well as by the Stabilization Fund 2022 for Culture and Education of the German Federal Foreign Office and the German Cultural Institute.
