LIAA together with Vilnius Gallery Weekend organise a \u201cTag the author win the artwork\u201d competition and invites art gallery visitors to take part in a game the prize of which is a work of art.
\n<\/span>Gallery visitors are invited to tag artists in their Instagram posts \u2013 in the photos of artworks for a chance to win one of three prizes \u2013 artworks.
\n<\/span>The competition runs from 07\/09\/2023 to 15\/10\/2023.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

1) A print by Visvaldas Morkevi\u010dius\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The prizes will be awarded by lottery, with the artworks chosen at random. The winners will be announced on <\/span>www.vilniausgalerijusavaitgalis.lt<\/span><\/a> website on 17 October 2023. The winners will also be notified by contacting them via their Instagram accounts.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tag the Author is a social advertising campaign that fosters public respect for creativity, copyright and related rights, and engages a wide range of cultural consumers. The campaign is launching in parallel with Vilnius Gallery Weekend, starting on 7 September 2023 and running until 15 October 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tag the Author is launched to highlight the issue of authorship attribution in social media content and to raise awareness among social media content creators and users about the importance of attribution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
