Audrius Bučas (b. 1962) lives and works in Vilnius. From 1980 to 1985, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the then Vilnius Civil Engineering Institute. Between 1991 and 1993, he worked at an architecture studio in Salzburg, Austria. In 1999, together with like-minded colleagues, he founded the creative group PI (Private Ideology). He has designed and implemented numerous buildings and interiors in Lithuania and abroad, as well as created furniture and corporate branding.
Bučas has held solo exhibitions and participated in group contemporary art exhibitions in Vilnius, Paris, London, Naples, Gdańsk, Tallinn, Prague, Stockholm, and other cities. In 2005, he was awarded the “LT Identity” Innovation Laureate Diploma for promoting Lithuania internationally.
