
Rosana Lukauskaitė is a writer, art critic, and researcher of contemporary art processes, actively publishing on contemporary art phenomena both in Lithuania and internationally. Her texts appear in Artnews.lt, Echo Gone Wrong, Šiaurės Atėnai, Literatūra ir menas, Arterritory.com, 7 meno dienos, Contemporary Lynx, Klimt02, among others. In 2024 she was a resident of the “Art Basel Summer Camp,” received a “Culture Moves Europe” mobility grant (Portugal), and her co-authored video work “Wearable Poetry” was screened at “SMCK ON REEL” in Munich in 2025, where it received the Audience Honor Award. Since 2024 she has held the status of an accredited art creator and is a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association.
In addition to criticism, Rosana actively develops her own artistic practice. Her video work “Crush” was selected for the international program “SMCK ON REEL • Love Movies” and screened at the Grassi Museum of Applied Arts in Leipzig, during Munich Jewellery Week, and at Pforzheim Jewellery Museum. Her text “Hildegarda ir ateiviai” (“Hildegard and the Aliens”) was exhibited as an independent work in the group show “Perforation” at the gallery “Drifts” (2025-09-11 – 10-31). Rosana’s debut poetry collection “Meilės nerasi konservų dėžutėje” (“You Won’t Find Love in a Tin Can”) was published in 2012, and in recent years she has been recognised in short fiction competitions.
