Pekarskas Martynas

Martynas Pekarskas (b. 1994) is a Lithuanian visual artist. He works with color, line, text, installation, and objects. He organizes exhibitions, participates in and curates projects, and takes on various roles within the cultural field. His work explores themes of time, existence, and visuality. He uses artistic practices as a personal language through which he reveals hidden corners of the human inner world. He investigates human relationships, comments on what it means to be an artist in the 21st century, and examines questions of materiality. His aim is to provoke the viewer to encounter a range of emotions within themselves and to invite them into the universe he creates, known as “Beyond.”
