Rukuižaitė Simona

Simona Rukuižaitė (b. 1994) is an artist and researcher whose practice engages with earth-derived materials and pigments. Working across installation, field research, and painting, she explores the formation and transformation of materials, and their relationships to the landscape. Through observation, collecting, and archiving, her work considers how geological processes intersect with cultural memory and human experience of time.
