Valentaitė Karolina Ūla

Karolina Ūla Valentaitė (b. 1996) is an artist working in the fields of video, installation, and performance. Her practice explores ritual practices, queer culture, archaism, human-plant relationships, and kinship. Her work places particular emphasis on issues of memory, identity, and ecology. These themes intersect and gradually evolve into what could be described as the ecology of memory, the ecology of identity, and the memory of identity.
