Invitation to Join LIAA

The Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association (LIAA) invites artists, curators, and art historians to join its actively operating community of contemporary art practitioners.

LIAA (Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association) is an organisation uniting over 180 emerging and established arts professionals. The association organises and produces exhibitions, events, residencies, and publications and represents its members in cultural policy. 

If you wish to become a member of the association, please submit the following documents via email to nariams@letmekoo.lt by April 30, 2025:

  1. An application to join, including contact details (phone number, address, email) and a short motivation statement explaining why you would like to become an LIAA member.
  2. A description of your artistic practice.
  3. A list of key artworks and publications about your work and/or yourself as an artist.
  4. Visual materials with examples of your creative work (applicable only to visual artists working in fine art, design, photography, or interdisciplinary art).
  5. A copy of an identification document.
  6. If you do not yet have the status of an art creator, please attach at least four recommendations from professional art critics (more information here: https://lrkm.lrv.lt/lt/meno-kurejams/meno-kurejo-ir-meno-kureju-organizacijos-statusas).

New members are accepted by the decision of the LIAA Council.

  7. Members gain official art creator status, which includes social guarantees and free access to most exhibitions in Lithuania

  8. We organise seminars and conduct research on topics relevant to members

  9. We nominate members for national, state, and municipal art awards

  10. We advocate for members’ interests in the field of cultural policy

  11. We offer opportunities to realise exhibitions, performances, and events at the Atletika gallery
