Open Studios event 9 September at SODAS 2123

On the occasion of the 6th Vilnius Gallery Weekend, on September 9. from 6 to 9 p.m. SODAS 2123 opens some of its artist studios. Come by and meet the creatives of various disciplines in process of their work, get to know their daily activities and don’t miss the opportunity to speak to them directly.

During the event the following studios will be open: the student space of the Department of Photography and Media Arts of Vilnius Academy of Arts, the Ariel Ink Design Studio, the Alt Lab Art and Science Laboratory, the Architecture Foundation office and the exhibition space with Goda Verikaitė’s exhibition “Ką kalba eiguliai. Koridorius”, studios of artists Kamilė Krasauskaitė, Gintarė Minelgaitė, Tomas Martišauskis, Aistė Viršulytė, Ieva Rojūtė, Asta Ostrovskaja, Aldona Majakovaitė, Coolturistės, Gintautas Trimakas and architects Ona Lozuraitytė and Petras Išora.

The cultural complex SODAS 2123 is a space established by the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association, operating under the principles of community and self-government. The SODAS 2123 cultural complex brings together over a hundred of cultural creators and researchers from various fields, who experiment in their practices, look for unexpected formats and respond to the latest cultural, social, geopolitical and ecological issues. Workshops and equipment for various fields of creative work are shared at SODAS 2123, and each resident of the complex is open to sharing, learning and mastery.
