Project space “Sodų 4” is happy to present an exhibition by Dainius Liškevičius titled “On passe a l’orange”. The main narrative evolves around the act of destruction, which has taken place at different points in time and which manifested itself as an action, a process, an act of coincidence, a set of circumstances, directing towards both personal as well as public and institutional space. Earlier artworks, concepts, events, mundane objects – all have been recreated, replaced, transformed, deconstructed and altered further by destructive strategies/intentions – to become new/other artworks and to constitute a new (semantic and) aesthetic structure, on the basis of which the artist is constructing his own manifesto “On passe a l’orange”.
