Vitalij Červiakov “Running Line”

2016-03-28

“Running Line” is an ethnographical research on LED screen, reflecting found writings on the walls.

Such screens are usually used for outdoor advertising of goods and services. This time the running line is capturing inscriptions of the station area of Vilnius, revealing the events and the vibe of the place.

This artwork has already been shown earlier in Utena, installed above the entrance to Utena Local History museum in the context of the curated residencies’ exhibition “Questioning Arts”. In Vilnius the installation “Running Line” will be on display at Project Space “Sodų 4” from mid April.
