A bilingual collage novel, Roses and Potatoes (translated into English by Karla Gruodis) was published in 2022. She is the author of the 6 international award-winning European opera “Good Day!” (2013), and the second opera-performance “Sun and the Sea”, created together with artists Rugilė Bardžiukaitė and Lina Lapelytė, was awarded the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art 2019. Aistė Marija currently writes essays and exhibition reviews for contemporary art newspapers online at and, and develops her artistic practice by knitting objects and conversations.
