Workshop: somatic practices and speculative worldings With Melissa Harrison

In June 2024, Melissa Harrison was staying at Alt lab laboratory, in cultural centre SODAS 2123. This Wednesday, June 26th at 6 p.m., she will hold a workshop in which she will present the handbook created during the residency. The handbook outlines critical concepts related to (urban) common(s) and commoning that are cut with vignettes and improvisational scores. The scores, which we will work with, draw on somatic practices and speculative worldings to frame a collective exploration.

Melissa Harrison is a Berlin-based researcher and practitioner working across somatic, social, and spatial practice; transformative pedagogies and urban performativity and justice. Her doctoral research explored the choreographies of common(ing) space: (un)learning and (un)making the city.
