On November 26 at 13:00, we invite you to the final online event of the series “AI in Creative Practice: Rights, Protection, Possibilities.” Paulius Briedis, founder of the NGO Robotikos mokykla (Robotics School), will present a lecture titled “AI in My Studio. My Enemy, My Thief, My Assistant, My Voice.”
How does artificial intelligence shape the creative process today—and how will it shape it tomorrow? The lecture explores AI’s role in artistic practice and the challenges it presents to creators. In the first part, Paulius will discuss AI-driven art theft, possible responses, and the ways artists themselves can use AI—from creative experimentation to administrative, communication, and legal tasks. The second part will focus on the boundaries between humans and AI: which tasks can be confidently delegated to algorithms, and which—due to their sensitivity, intimacy, or authenticity—should remain in human hands. The event is intended for artists, cultural sector professionals, and anyone seeking a clearer understanding of AI’s impact on creative and professional practice.
Paulius Briedis is the founder of the NGO Robotikos mokykla, with more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing STEAM education methodologies in Lithuania and various European countries. He has co-authored several educational publications, including an internationally used artificial intelligence programming textbook. He also initiated one of the first AI-based educational tools for identifying misinformation. His practical expertise includes invention, electronics, mechanical design, Arduino, Micro:Bit, VR, CAD, 3D printing, and AI tools. He is currently developing drone boats for water quality research.
