The Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists Association annually provides members with a creative study at the cultural centre SODAS 2123 to carry out creative activities and develop projects. At the beginning of 2024, artist Rokas Janušonis will be using LIAA creative studio at the cultural center SODAS 2123 to to prepare for this year’s upcoming exhibitions.

Recently, Rokas Janušonis has been trying to combine various means of artistic expression, the main ones being sculpture and drawing media. Interweaving ceramic objects with various ready-made details and drawings, the artist creates installations – 3-dimensional paintings. In the studio, the LIAA member is going to start the preparation for this year’s planned exhibitions.

Cultural centre SODAS 2123 is a space founded by the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists Association based on the principles of community and self-government, where more than a dozen cultural creators and researchers from different fields experiment and look for unexpected formats and respond to the latest cultural, social, geopolitical and ecological issues.

LIAA activities are funded by Lithuanian Council for Culture.
