Tour-Discussion around the exhibition Subsuns with artists Geistė Marija Kinčinaitytė and Lidija Kononenko

On 11 May, 2024, at 4 pm a guided tour will take place to mark the closing of the exhibition
“Subsuns” by Geistė Marija Kinčinaitytė and Lidija Kononenko at Atletika gallery. The tour and
the discussion will be moderated by artist-theorist and curator Paulius Petraitis.

Exhibition “The Whale Vanishes” by Tomas Daukša at SODAS 2123 project space

On 5 April 2024, from 6 p.m., the opening of the exhibition “The Whale Vanishes ” by artist Tomas Daukša will take place in the project space of the cultural center SODAS 2123 (Vitebsko str. 23, Vilnius). The exhibition presents fountains of fantastic shapes, which are part of the artist’s ongoing project “Fountains of Joy”. The exhibition runs until 23 April.

OPEN SODAS: NATURE

As we breathe a sigh of relief after Easter, we will open the door to spring and nature, to new inspirations and ideas. Together we will welcome two new exhibitions – “The Whale Vanishes” by Tomas Daukša and “Subsuns” by Geistė Marija Kinčinaitytė and Lidija Kononenko, and we will talk about the book „Karminas, purpuras ir mėlis“ by Herman Pleij. As always, there’s plenty of inspiration to be found in the artist’s studios!

LIAA ANNOUNCES A PRIZE COMPETITION FOR THE PRODUCTION OF NEW WORKS OF ART TO PROMOTE THE CREATIVITY OF ITS MEMBERS

Invitation to the opening of Dainius Liškevičius’ solo exhibition “Obsessions”

On 21 March at 6 pm, the Radvila Palace Museum of Art invites you to the opening of the solo exhibition “Obsessions” by LIAA member Dainius Liškevičius. In the exhibition, the artist rethinks and proposes a new way of looking at the function of the museum as an institution and its role in society, questioning the objectivity of the preserved stories and their significance through various media expressions. The exhibition will be open to visitors until 2 June.

Anton Lukoszevieze – LIAA MEMBER WORKING IN LIAA STUDIO IN CULTURAL CENTRE SODAS 2123 IN Februarury 2024

The Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists Association annually provides members with a creative study at the cultural centre SODAS 2123 to carry out creative activities and develop projects. In February 2024, artist Anton Lukoszevieze will be using LIAA creative studio at the cultural center SODAS 2123 to to prepare for the exhibition which will open at the Prospekto Gallery on 28 February.
