On September 5, 2024, at 7 pm, a group exhibition titled ‘Disciplines’ will open at the Atletika gallery. The show features works by recent members of the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Union (LIAA) – Greta Eimulytė, Vaiva Grainytė, Elena Grudzinskaitė, Algirdas Jakas, Elena Kanarskaitė, Liudvikas Kesminas, Indrė Liškauskaitė, Donata Minderytė, and Rūta Spelskytė. The artists, all of whom have joined the LIAA in the past few years, have been brought together for this exhibition by the curator Jurij Dobriakov.

In August 2024 Monika Lipšic will be participating in a one-month curatorial residency at the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow (CCA Glasgow). This residency is initiated as a collaboration between the Centre for Contemporary Arts in Glasgow and the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association, as well as the Cultural attaché of the Republic of Lithuania.

On 8 August 2024 at 6 pm, on the last day of the Roots & Wires exhibition, the closing event will take place across the spaces of the Atletika gallery and the cultural centre SODAS 2123, which will feature the presentation of the Ūmėdė.lt festival camp results.

On the 27th June 2024 a group exhibition ‘Roots & Wires’ will be opened ar Atletika gallery, featuring works by artists Merle Bergers, Maria Castellanos, LIAA member Mindaugas Gapševičius, Lerin/Hystad, Špela Petrič, curated by Katažyna Jankovska.

Artists Gailė Griciūtė and Barbora Matonytė, members of the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists Association (LIAA), will present their work at the international event 180 Creative Lab, between 19-22 June 2024. The event will take place at VIC // Aveiro Arts House in Aveiro city – which is this year’s Portuguese Capital of Culture.

Aleknaičiai Culture and Education Space (Akee) together with the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association (LTKMS) is organising a day camp for school children in Aleknaičiai village, Pakruojis district, in the territory of the former Aleknaičiai school and its surroundings, from 17-20 June 2024. The camp programme is designed and implemented by LIAA members Joana Kairienė and Ieva Gražytė together with artist and educator Simona Čemoškaitė. The camp programme is curated by LIAA member Vilius Vaitiekūnas.
