On 9-10th of September Vilnius will be full of exhibition openings, open artists’ studios, performances, workshops and others contemporary art events.


Bacterial Love Letters Sent From “Malonioji 6”

On top of the lawn

Around 6pm each day the sun begins its descent, drooping from the sky until it finds a place in front of a tall glass building next to the Lithuanian Parliament. Once it hits the belly of the hi-rise, its light then projects across the Neris River, dodging a few trees onto the patchy lawn of Malonioji 6. A second sun, setting from the east.

Serendipity: Thinking Against Logic

Migrating Art Academies laboratory titled “Serendipity” will take place in Nida, Lithuania between 14-24 September 2015. Emerging artists are invited to apply online via www.migaa.eu by 11 August 2015. Selected participants will be granted travel costs and accommodation.


Students from Germany and Lithuania will meet in Panemunė Castle to discuss games and war

From July 27th 2015 a creative laboratory titled Corpus Ludus Militaris (CLM) will gather students from Vilnius Academy of Arts, Kaunas University of Technology, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and Academy of Media Arts Cologne in Panemunė Castle, Lithuania. Corpus Ludus Militaris is envisioned as a progressive chain of educative, creative and contemplative events within the framework of Migrating Art Academies, spanning two weeks and culminating into the public presentations of completed artistic and investigative projects underlined by informal exchange of ideas gracefully orchestrated by the panel of invited speakers.
