Denisas Kolomyckis – THE FIRST ARTIST, LIAA MEMBER WORKING IN LIAA STUDIO IN CULTURAL CENTRE SODAS 2123 IN 2023

The Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists Association annually provides members with a creative study at the cultural centre SODAS 2123 to carry out creative activities and develop projects. At the beginning of 2023, artist Denisas Kolomyckis will be using LIAA creative study at the cultural complex SODAS 2123 to work on the audiovisual work “Patriarch” (working title) and the installation “Localist” (working title).

The musical performance “A Nap” by Kristina Inčiūraitė presented at Atletika Gallery

OPEN SODAS is an event open to conversations, exchange of ideas, insights and creative energy. Colors

In the cultural centre SODAS 2123 the three-part series of contemporary music events “Colors” continue. The first performances that started in October, dedicated to performative music, were glowing in red, and in November SODAS 2123 hall will light up with blue. An artist, LIAA member Kamilė Krasauskaitė will participate in the event.

Exhibition ‘Respawn’ by Hanna Ijäs and Bryndís Björnsdóttir (Dísa), curated by Ignas Pavliukevičius together with AI

An exhibition titled ‘Respawn’ by the participants of LIAA residency program Finnish artist Hanna Ijäs and Icelandic artist Bryndís Björnsdóttir (Dísa) opens at Atletika gallery (Vitebsko 21, Vilnius) on 27 October 2022, curated by LIAA member Ignas Pavliukevičius and AI language model GPT3. This exhibition is the result of the two-month artist residency at the cultural centre SODAS 21232. On the opening night on 27 October, from 7 pm, artist Hanna Ijäs together with sound artists Edvinas Gruodis Siliūnas, Karolis Brežinskas and Kristupas Kmitas will present the performance ‘Lie Down Where You Want to Be Stepped On’.
