Training series “AI in Artistic Practice: Rights, Protection, Opportunities”

The training series “AI in Artistic Practice: Rights, Protection, Opportunities,” scheduled to take place in October and November, will bring together artists, lawyers, and technology experts for events exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and artistic practice. The training is organized by the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Union (LIAA). They will take place at the SODAS 2123 cultural complex (Vitebsko g. 23, Vilnius).

The first resident of Archaeomythologies is Kamilė Krasauskaitė!

Kamilė Krasauskaitė is an artist and curator working across multiple disciplines and dimensions. Her practice unfolds through installations, sculptures, painting, publications, and social events. She explores ancient crafts as deep codes for unlocking connections between everyday life and ancestral knowledge, including indigenous cultures’ beliefs and practices.

LIAA unites more than 190 emerging and established contemporary art creators. The association organizes and produces exhibitions, events, residencies, publications and represents the interests of artists in the field of cultural policy.

Residency opportunity for LIAA members. Archaeomythologies of Future Past

We’re excited to share the first residency opportunity developed through a new international collaboration between the Italian association Flusso and the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Association (LIAA). This residency will take place in the Apulia region of southern Italy in autumn 2025 and is dedicated to exploring the legacy of Marija Gimbutas and her work across Southern Europe.
This current call is open exclusively to LIAA members, with one artist to be selected for the first edition. Below you’ll find the full description in English. A dedicated website and social media presence are in development, but we look forward to growing this initiative together.

Memory of Nature. Group of Lithuanian Artists Presented the Exhibition in Sicily

The group exhibition Memory of Nature, curated by Collective Way, opened in Italy, Sicily, on 21 June at the Civico 111 in Gela.

The exhibition is presented as part of the fourth edition of the Biennial “Countless cities” in Sicily and as a pavilion for Lithuanian artists.
