New LIAA members 2021
We are delighted to announce that nine new members have joined the Lithuanian Interdisciplinary Artists’ Union this year – Lina Lapelytė, Kristina Maselskytė, Anton Lukoszevieze, Agnė Gintalaitė, Anton Karyuk, Andrėja Šaltytė, Marija Nemčenko, Marija Siliūnienė and Rūta Spelskytė-Liberienė.

BODY OF MOTHER – exhibition by Vaida Tamoševičiūtė
Everything I do is an attempt to find my own reality, says Vaida Tamoševičiūtė and perharps this best reflects the artist’s relationship with her work, which is live and constantly revised. In partnership, Undercurrent and Meno Parkas Gallery present Body of Mother, an exhibition of performance videos on motherhood by Vaida Tamoševičiūtė from December 3 – 19, 2021.

Lina Lapelytė and Salomėja Petronytė in exhibition “Vorsprung durch Technik” closing event: an evening with a song “Audi Vis” and the Choir of Vilnius Academy of Arts
On 26 November, the last day of the exhibition “Vorsprung durch Technik”, a closing event will take place at Atletika gallery. A song titled “Audi Vis” will be performed by the Choir of Vilnius Academy of Arts, arranged by exhibiting artists Lina Lapelytė (member of LIAA) and Salomėja Petronytė.

SODAS 2123 artist-in-residence: Adam Christensen
Adam Christensen is artist-in-residence at SODAS 2123 between November – December 2021. During his residency Christensen will consolidate work on his debut album which will be released by purge.xxx in 2022.

S MOM. A project curated by Vaida Tamoševičiūtė
S Mom is growing rapidly and this year we are presenting 16 amazing artists, including one work by each of the curators – Guadalupe Aldrete and Vaida Tamoševičiūtė. We create this international network, encouraging estranged topics of (non)motherhood to stay connected, to belong, to state our tribe through performance art.
